Playing open strings and scales helps us improve our technique and tone and the sound of the orchestra. This is how we warm up. To make it easy for everyone to follow, Ron marks the open strings with different colors. For example, yellow, red, green and blue for the strings of the violin. Of course, you can invent your own system that works for everyone in your group.
